Update on life in the studio

I haven't posted here for a couple of weeks, but life carries on at a hectic pace! I've begun the process of cutting up shirts for #MeToo, finished off Iciline, number 4 in the Windrush series, and fiddled about with making clothes and painting. I've begun using water soluble oil paint. This is still oil paint but you can clean your brushes, and dilute the paint, in water. Useful and not at all like acrylic paint. Here's a first effort - the paint makes you adopt a slightly different style as it blends so well. It's oils on linen paper, not a canvas. I haven't finished the satsuma yet which needs leaves and something to stop it looking like an orange ball. When dry and varnished, this will be in the shop for £35.
